Spotlight: Computer Science Week
Needing to move towards a simple & useable program was the main idea behind our Computer Science Week refresh. Start of the year sessions, Parent Mornings, Advisory lessons, etc.... were all prepared & structured to encourage a culture of thinking (and doing). The framework not only became a centerpiece of our Hour of Code week, it brought some life, laughter, discussion and good will to our classrooms and school community.
Spotlight: Capturing China
In addition to complementing our Chinese program and students’ study of Mandarin, this exchange married a love for documenting and showcasing learning with the belief that students would return home with a deeper understanding of China including the people, history, cuisine, and culture.
